Win streak reaches eight for JV volleyball
Lady Indians post 2-0 road win at George Walton
The JV Lady Indians grabbed a close 2-0 win at George Walton on Monday evening. TFS won 25-19, 25-23.
The girls had to shake off a bit of rust, getting out to a slow start in each set. TFS dug itself out of a 16-22 hole in the opening set. Keely Franks was outstanding with a long run at serve.
Tori Crotta had 10 kills and three aces, while AnnaLee Wall and Camryn Perry each had five kills. Becca Roberts and Azul Felder Terrados had two kills apiece, while Finlee Ridlehoover and Franks each had two aces. Abigail Cruz also had a strong run at serve, and Nora Mitchell played excellent back-row defense.
The girls are now 13-3 overall and 8-0 in region play.
