Lady Indians remain flawless in region with convincing road win
TFS beats Athens Christian 3-0 to dominate region match
The #6-ranked Lady Indians secured a 3-0 road win at Athens Christian on Tuesday, keeping their perfect region record intact at 2-0.
TFS took the opening set 25-21, swapping the lead a couple of times. With better control and communication in the second set, Tallulah Falls won comfortably 25-14.
Laura Ruiz Rendon led the defense with great communication, and Margalida Amengual Sanchez fed beautifully to middle hitter Stella Bowman. Rebecca Heyl, Sofia Livianos, Corinne Swinton, Tori Crotta, and Lily Smith all shared in the attacking opportunities.
In the winning third set, Livianos and Crotta had long runs at serve, including several aces that kept the Lady Eagles on their toes in serve receive. The TFS offense continued a relentless attack, earning a 25-4 dominant set win to clinch the match. The win makes Tallulah Falls 11-5 overall and 2-0 in region play.
