Middle school girls tennis snaps losing streak with gritty win over Habersham
Lady Indians secure 3-2 home win over Habersham
The MS Lady Indians snapped a 4-match losing streak with a 3-2 win on Tuesday at home against Habersham. The girls won with their top two singles lines, and top doubles combo.
"I'm so proud of the way the girls came through today," says coach Anthony Cox. "Ruby was dominating at 3-0 before her opponent retired. Joanna avenged a loss from earlier this season. And our 1-doubles of Alaina and Allegra playing together for the first time came through in a tiebreak to clinch the match after everyone else was done. Amazing performance."
