Tallulah Falls Preview
The Lady Indians, as well as the Indians, are the defending State Champions. The MS boys can claim the same going in.
Last year, the Lady Indians lapped the field and came away with gold in several individual and relay events as well as hoisting the overall trophy. Those who finished in the top-5 that return this year include Lucia Roser de Hoyos (State Champ 100 Free, 2nd in 200 Free), Carsyn Griffis (3rd in 500 Free, 4th in 200 Free), Mattie Patterson (3rd in 100 Fly, 4th in 100 Breast, 4th in 200 IM), and Selah Wiltshire (2nd in 100 Free, 3rd in 50 Free). Nearly all of the relay events are expected to be among the state's top finishers.
The Indians also held the team trophy at the end last year, and had a pair of relay golds in the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays. Back this time to lead the efforts include Caden Polley (3rd in 200 IM, 4th in 100 Breast). Several TFS swimmers should wind up on the podium for the boys after standout seasons thorughout 2025-26.
Overall, the teams will be considered favorites once again coming in on both the girls and boys sides.
