MS girls win overtime contest against Trinity
TFS secures 28-25 overtime victory
It took an extra period, but the MS Lady Indians won a 28-25 final at home on Monday against Trinity Classical.
The teams traded baskets throughout the contest, as TFS trailed 12-11 at the half, but had a big third quarter to pull ahead 22-15 going into the final quarter.
The visitors forced overtime, and Tallulah got four points against three for Trinity in the final period.
Evie Purcell led with nine points, while Hallee Smith added seven. Savannah Pastor, Joanna Neeley, Jordan Harris, Hadley Lovvorn, Alaina Bray, and Lily Denard each had two points. TFS is now 4-6 on the season.
