TFS drops final home game to Lady Eagles
The Lady Indians suffered a 63-40 loss at home on Thursday against one of the region's premier teams in Athens Christian.
Tallulah Falls (6-11; 2-6 in region) held close in the first period of play, as it was a 20-19 AC lead until the Lady Eagles had a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
LB Kafsky had a big quarter with 10 points, while Klara Dvorakova and Nora Mitchell each had a 3-pointer.
Athens Christian pulled away in the second, as TFS trailed 43-29 at the break.
Ines Gil connected on a big shot from downtown in the third, and a quick spurt offensively had Tallulah within single digits.
The visitors were up by 22 heading into the final period and limited TFS the rest of the way.
Kafsky led all TFS scorers with 12 points, while Dvorakova had 11 and Gil nine. Mitchell finished with six and Mia Kerr two.
