Tallulah Falls Preview
The Indians (15-1) have won four straight region titles, and currently have a 15-game win streak since losing their season-opener. TFS has been ranked as high as #3 in the state polls this year, and have a stellar 92-12 goal differential on the season. Bushy Turnquest leads the team with 18 goals and has five assists. Simon Gainzarain Hernando (12 G, 12 A), Fabricio Turner Sandoval (12 G, 11 A), Kale Borchers (9 G, 5 A), and Petar Gromiko (7 G, 6 A) have all been relied upon offensively. Several others have played a part in that role, too, as 15 different players have notched at least one goal. Both Alberto Battino and Lucas Woodland have done very well in goal, as the team has allowed just 0.75 goals per game.
Tatttnall Square opens as a 12-seed, and holds a 5-7 overall record. The Trojans have been outscored this season 45-20 overall.
The Lady Indians (7-6) have been solid all season, and LB Kafsky (18 G, 5 A) is the leading scorer. Bailey Crumley (5 G, 9 A) earlier broke the career assists record, and along with Sarah Lundy, Jocelyn Hall, Marta Beltran, and Leyre Martinez Herreros, has been key to this team's success. Cassidy Coles has been the goalkeeper for TFS, which has a 42-40 goal tally to date.
Mount de Sales Academy (8-8) has actually been outscored this season by a total of 60-51. The Cavaliers have a senior that has most of their goals, and their schedule has been one of the toughest in GIAA.
