TFS faces great competition against Rivers Academy in preparation of upcoming region tournament
Indians edged out by three against Rivers, Lady Indians compete well
Tallulah Falls got back on the links Wednesday after a long Spring Break. The Indians dropped their head-to-head match against Rivers Academy at The Orchard, 240-237.
Ryder Cantrell (78) was the low scorer for Tallulah, while Tate Turpin (80) and Rylee Smith (82) rounded out the team score.
Jayden Hangbo (87), Owen Earp (90), Max Pulliam (94), Kalvin Ngov (95), Emmitt Likins (100), Wyatt Dorsey (104), and Liam Burke (125) all competed for TFS.
The Lady Indians only got 14 holes in before darkness abbreviated the match. On the front nine, Maeve Hatcher carded a 44, Handley James a 45, and Alex Rokasko a 54.
"It was great to see our team compete against one of the top teams in the state," says coach CJ Stockel. "This is great preparation for the Region Championship on Monday, down in Monroe."
