Indians of the Month: November 2025
TFS names its newest Indians of the Month
The following athletes were chosen by their coaches as Indians of the Month for November 2025.
VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL
Matus Zlocha - JR SG #21
Matus was the leading scorer in the first two games of the season, averaging 15 PPG. Additionally, he contributed in other key areas, including 3 assists per game and 2 steals per game. -coach Cody Coleman

Marta Beltran - SO G #5

VARSITY BOYS SWIMMING
Martin Raybon - SR
Martin has worked hard and challenged himself this season, which has been evident in each training session. Over the past few meets, Martin has been apart of four relay wins (twice in the 200 Free, twice in the 200 Medley), and has three top-5 individual swims and six top-10s. -coach Chris Kafsky
VARSITY GIRLS SWIMMING
Mattie Patterson - SR
Mattie has been training hard this season. She has showed tremendous leadership and commitment to our team. Through her performances this past month, she has finished top-5 in four individual events (200 IM, 500 Free, 100 Fly, 100 Breast) and also in four relays (2x 200 Medley, 200 Free, 400 Free). -coach Chris Kafsky
PRECISION RIFLE
Desi Newkirk - SO
In a southeast regional 3-position match recently, Desi shot a 572! It is Desi's first year with us and his score exceeded the varsity letter score by 12!. -coach Tim Stamey
VARSITY CHEERLEADING
Katelyn Ivester - SR
I chose Katelyn for Indian of the Month because she is gentle, kind, and loving to everyone, always spreading positivity wherever she goes. She consistently gives her best effort and handles mistakes with grace, showing true perseverance and character. -coach Erin Jimenez
JV BOYS BASKETBALL
Ethan Phasavang - FR PG #1
Ethan got off to a great start this season with 19 points and more than 5 steals against Towns County for our first game of the season. He didn't score in our game against Prince Avenue but did force them to turn the ball over multiple times. He led TFS efforts to skillfully and carefully break down tough full court presses from Franklin County and Prince Avenue. Ethan's attitude and effort has been stellar everyday on the court, in practices and in competitions! -coach Matt Cortta
JV CHEERLEADING
Josslyn Webber - SR
I chose Josslyn for Indian of the Month because, even as a new member this year, she has stepped into a leadership role with determination and grace. She is strong, willing to try new things, and genuinely cares about helping her team succeed. -coach Erin Jimenez
MS BOYS BASKETBALL
West Ridlehoover - 8TH PG #34
West Ridlehoover has been named Indian of the Month for MS Basketball for his outstanding leadership and constant hustle on the court. He is reliable and dependable, always giving his best effort and taking time to help and encourage the younger players. West shows great character and is extremely coachable, making him a positive example for his teammates. -coach Brian Long
MS GIRLS BASKETBALL
Lily Denard - 8TH G #23
This month's Indian of the Month goes to a player who gives nothing less than her very best every single day. She hustles in every drill, every rep, and every possession—setting the tone for her teammates with her effort and energy. She leads by example, encourages those around her, and brings a genuine love for the game that lifts our entire team. Her hard work and leadership make her a standout on and off the court, and we're proud to recognize her for everything she brings to our program. -coach Jenny Long

Brody Dampier - 8TH
Returner Brody Dampier has had a strong start to the swim season. Brody has made a state qualifying cut in every event he has swam thus far. He has stepped into a leadership position with ease. Brody has taken the new swimmers under his wing and has shown them much encouragement. He will continue to contribute to the team in a big way! -coach Jinny Hanifan-Wagner
MS GIRLS SWIMMING
Peyton Dodd - 7TH
Peyton Dodd has had a strong start to the swim season. She has met the state qualifying times in four events thus far. Peyton is not afraid to challenge herself and try events that are not her strongest. Peyton brings fun and laughter to the team. She sets a great example for the other swimmers with her attitude and effort. -coach Jinny Hanifan-Wagner
MS CHEERLEADING
Riley McCracken - 6TH
This month, we are thrilled to celebrate our Athlete of the Month, Riley McCracken, a cheerleader who brings unmatched energy, kindness, and dedication to our team. She is truly the definition of what it means to be a leader both on and off the mat. Spunky and full of spirit, she lights up every practice with her positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm. Her caring nature shows not only in the way she treats her teammates, but also in the way she lifts others up, encourages them, and goes out of her way to make everyone feel valued. With a heart of gold, she embodies the true meaning of teamwork. She gives 110% every time she steps on the floor—whether she's learning a new stunt, helping a teammate perfect a skill, or simply jumping in to assist wherever she's needed. Her willingness to help and her drive to always do her best inspire everyone around her. We are so proud of her hard work, leadership, and the light she brings to our program.
